Forest Restoration using Philippine Threatened and Endemic Tree Species (PTE's) in Bacon Manito Geothermal Reservation in support to the Philippine Forestry Sector National Greening Program

Project Objectives

  • Restore 100 hectares of disturbed forest with 20 highly threatened and endemic tree species
  • Establish a 2ha arboretum
  • Produce 50,000 quality planting materials and develop 10 propagation protocols
  • Demonstrate Private-Public Partnership in forest restoration and translate into working national policies
  • Facilitate knowledge sharing on Forest Restoration using PTE's
